“Where should I go on my first morning?”
Come to the side entrance at 8:45 AM and ask for Sam, your welcome buddy.
A SIMPLE START
A few good notes. The right people.
A first question worth asking.
Start with arrival details, the first-week plan, key contacts, and your usual checklists.
Give them access to the right workspace. Approved WhatsApp access keeps questions in a familiar chat.
Managers see unanswered questions and can improve the shared information after replying.
A HUMAN KEEPS IT HELPFUL
Keep a real person as their buddy. Use shared memory for practical information, and the manager inbox for questions that need a person. Review access when the role or assignment changes.
Tell us about your teamPeople already using WhatsApp can ask there once their workspace's channel is approved and activated. The same shared knowledge is also available on the web.
Each invited person messages ContextFriend individually. Your existing group can stay as it is. This version doesn't join it, listen to it, or automatically import its history.
For US early access, WhatsApp availability depends on the actual use case and provider setup. Creating a workspace does not switch it on.

ContextFriend gives invited people a shared knowledge workspace. Help a new teammate find the small things that make a big difference. Where to arrive. Who to ask. How the day works. All from the welcome notes you already have. Answers point to source information, and unanswered questions can go to a manager.
Start with a few useful notes: 8:45 am · side entrance, your welcome buddy · sam, first morning · blue folder. Add documents when you need more detail. Owners manage access, and managers choose which contributions become shared knowledge.
Not currently. Where activated, each invited person messages the assistant directly in WhatsApp. It does not automatically read existing groups or import their history. An optional shared-message relay is a separate pilot that requires explicit member opt-in.
Use the early access form to tell us about your people and the questions they repeat. We will discuss the workspace and channel setup with you. Submitting the form does not create an account, activate WhatsApp, or start a paid subscription.

GUIDES
The best knowledge base for a small team is the one people actually use from their phone in the moment they need an answer — so pick for easy asking and easy updating before you pick for features.
You stop repeating instructions by answering each repeated question once, in writing, in the place your staff already look — and by noticing the questions your written answers miss.
A good shift handover covers what is still open, what changed, what is coming next and who to call — written down, handed over at a fixed time, and confirmed by the person taking over.
Hotels keep guest requests from getting lost by logging every request in one system of record — usually the property management system or a request log — and reviewing the open ones at every shift handover.
New hires most want to know where to go, who to ask and what a normal day looks like — and they hesitate to ask because they do not want to look unprepared, so the best onboarding answers those questions before anyone has to ask.
