SHARED KNOWLEDGE. FAMILIAR CHATS.
How ContextFriend
works with WhatsApp.
Invited people ask the same shared knowledge in separate direct chats with ContextFriend. WhatsApp needs an eligible use case and an activated channel; it is not switched on by sending an enquiry.
DIRECT CHAT / WHERE ACTIVATEDOne memory.
Individual questions.
The owner adds approved people and chooses who can ask, contribute, or manage. Each person messages the assistant directly. Answers use the shared information they can access.
A conversation is not automatically broadcast to other members. Workspace managers can review conversations and unanswered questions.
OPTIONAL PILOT / BY ARRANGEMENTChoose what
to share.
The shared-message relay lets consenting members deliberately send text to other opted-in members through their separate chats. They can also ask about shared relay messages.
Everyone must opt in, and can leave. The relay is a separate pilot, not a standard feature activated by this form. Delivery depends on each person's WhatsApp reply window.
EXISTING WHATSAPP GROUPSKeep your
group as it is.
ContextFriend cannot currently join an existing WhatsApp group, read it automatically, or import its history. Direct messaging and the optional relay do not create a native group bot.
Save selected useful notes with people's permission, and let invited members ask about them.
What if WhatsApp is not available for us?
The shared knowledge workspace also works in a web browser. In US early access, we review the use case and available channels with you before agreeing on a setup. ContextFriend is built to run locally; this hosted early access pilot is the exception. WhatsApp messaging uses Twilio and Meta, and hosted AI processing uses the configured cloud services described in our workspace privacy information.
How do we get started?
Tell us who would use the workspace and which questions they keep asking. We will discuss a suitable starting point and what is available for your group.
